Using SEO Analysis to Increase Your Ranking
You can get your website to climb the search engine rankings if you rust do a little SEO analysis of your own. These techniques are not complicated to implement as they can be performed by anyone with basic search engine optimization skills. The reason why many of these techniques are overlooked is because they do take time each day. You must become diligent and focus on growing your website from the inside out if you want to be considered a force at the top of the search engine results.
The first part of your website that you must carefully analyze is your meta fields. Within your website there are many areas that the search engines spider will periodically crawl to gain information about your website. These meta fields are visible to the search engines and not only tell them where to rank you in the search engines as compared to other websites in your niche, it also tells the search engine spiders if your content is relevant to your keywords and anchor text. Check all the meta fields throughout your website and see if there are any that are blank or missing valuable information.
The meta titles should clearly describe what the articles are about. There should also be a keyword or two in that title to really cement your status as an authority in that field. Your meta descriptions should be a brief sentence or two that act like a summary of the content on the page. You should be careful not to stuff keywords in this area because this will be what readers see when they run a search through the search engines. This brief summary will tell readers whether this content is worth them visiting your website.
To continue doing your own SEO analysis of your website you need to be sure that you have a group of keywords that pertain to your niche and that you use throughout the website. If you are only using one keyword on a few pages and expecting your website to gain traffic it will not happen. This process is something you have to incorporate into your daily routine and be sure to stick to your plan. You need a group of 5-10 relevant long tail keywords in your niche. These should be keywords that answer the question your buyers will be asking. You must get into the habit of adding fresh and unique content each day that incorporates those keywords.
The way to do this is by adding one unique article of 400 words or more to your website at least a few times a week. These articles should have your long tail keyword in each paragraph of the article one time. Then you should bold one of the keywords, underline one of the keywords and italicize the other one. Make one of the keywords a hyperlink to another article on your website that relates to that keyword in one way or another. These little steps should not take you more than an hour a day, yet with consistent practice it will help your website rise to the top of the rankings.
